Lindley Hut

Built in 1953 and later rebuilt after a fire, the Lindley Hut is a memorial to Alfred Lindley; a principal of the National Ski Association. The hut is located in Castle Creek Valley south of Aspen, Colorado. It's worth noting that the Lindley Hut and other huts in the Braun system are located in areas that are known for avalanches with recurring avalanche cycles. The routes leading into the Lindley Hut are unmarked and are not maintained. These huts are only for the experienced back country traveler. The Lindley Hut is managed by the 10th Mountain Division Hut Association and all reservations should be made at huts.org
