GUIDED TIMBERSLED SNOW BIKE TOURS
We are the first company in Colorado to offer multi-day guided Timbersled Snow Bike Tours. For 2017, we teamed up with our friends at the Thunder Mountain Lodge in the Grand Mesa region of Colorado. Known for large, open powder fields and non-existent crowds, the Grand Mesa offers a Timbersled Snow Bike experience unlike any other. Our Snow Bike Tours are the best option for those of you looking to escape the Colorado resorts and truly experience the Colorado back country.
7 Cabins all sitting above 10,000 feet
Perched high atop the Grand Mesa, one of the world’s largest and highest plateau, sits Colorado’s best kept secret ~ Thunder Mountain Lodge. With an average elevation of 10,000 feet, the Grand Mesa is Colorado at its very best. Boasting over 300 lakes and over 800 square miles of lush National Forest to explore, you will have no trouble getting away from it all.
Each cabin provides a comfortable, quiet, and relaxing environment. Cabins include a fire pit outside and a rustic wood & log decor indoors and outdoors. The cabins also feature a full kitchen offering: refrigerator, microwave, toaster, stove, oven, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, and dishware; just bring groceries and a chef! Each cabin has its own shower, sink, and toilet.
We are now serving espresso & americanos. The only espresso on the Mesa! We may not have a restaurant, but ask about our food options! There’s a restaurant down the street, and we will stock your kitchen for you!
Our Snow Bike Tours are only available Sunday through Thursday. Each trip begins with a Sunday afternoon drive through the Colorado High Country until you reach your destination at Thunder Mountain Lodge. You will have 3 full days of riding on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with a checkout time of Thursday morning before noon. We do not provide transportation but can help assist in the process. Snow Bike Rentals and Snowmobile rentals are available and will be waiting for you at the lodge. Our professional guides will guide you through the Grand Mesa backcountry each day. Trip prices include lodging, forest use fees, machine rental fees, gas, and gear rentals.
