Where is Buena Vista?
Off the beaten path of the more famous resorts of Aspen and Vail, Buena Vista acts as basecamp for those looking to explore the Collegiate Peaks and the trails around and near the famous Browns Canyon. The town itself is about a 90-minute drive west of Colorado Springs and Denver or about 90 minutes south of both Vail and Breckenridge in good weather. Only accessible in the summer months, Buena Vista is also a 90-minute drive away from Aspen via Independence Pass.
