Do It Yourself Rentals
Sometimes it’s just more fun to be your own guide. We offer a variety of “Do it yourself” rentals. Each rental includes a full safety review. Once the paperwork is signed, you are on your own. We can help you determine where to go based on your level of experience and based on what type of experience you are looking to have.
What's included in your rental?
Each of our motorized rentals include a tank of gas, a helmet, and a trailer for towing when needed. Apparel including boots, jackets, pants, gloves, and goggles are also available for rent. Unless otherwise stated, a full-day rental is from 9am to 5pm and half-days start at 9am and 1pm. Over night and multi-day rental options are available. A discount of 10% off is available to all active and retired military service members.
Our Timbersled Snow Bike rentals are ideal for intermediate riders of dirt bikes and can handle any terrain and any condition. Our adult Timbersled Snow Bikes are built using a KTM 450 SXF Body and we also offer the Timbersled ST Ripper for kids who want to ride. Learn more about Timbersled Snow Bike Rentals
We offer a variety of Trail Sleds for backcountry touring and High-performance Powder Sleds for big mountain riding from Polaris Industries including the Polaris Pro RMK850 Patriot. Each machine is professionally maintained by our Polaris certified mechanics. Learn more about Snowmobile Rentals
The Polaris Slingshot is one of the best ways to explore the Colorado Mountains. Originally classified as a 3-wheel Motorcycle, the State of Colorado lifted motorcycle classification in 2017 thus allowing all who possess a valid drivers license to rent and drive the machine. RZRs go by many names. RZR, Razors, Side-by-sides, and more. Whatever you choose to call these off-road vehicles, one thing remains the same – they make trail riding accessible and fun for all. Our fleet of KTM Dirt Bikes are available to those looking to ride the new Dry Lake Motorcross track and for those looking to explore Vail Pass and surrounding mountain trails. Our motorcycle rentals include bikes from BMW, Triumph, and Harley Davidson. We offer cafe racers, street bikes, and cruiser bikes. One of the fastest growing sports in recent memory, Paddle Boarding offers a great way to experience the many rivers and reservoirs throughout the state of Colorado. For those of you who want to rent your own Timbersled or Snowmobile but do not have access to a vehicle to tow with, we offer a Chevy Yukon for an added $200/day. For reservations, please call well in advanced as it books up quickly.
For those of you who are headed into the backcountry, we offer Float Packs from BCA along with avalanche beacon rentals. Never venture off into the backcountry without proper safety gear and make sure that you understand how to use it. Learn more about Safety Equipment Rentals
