Margys Hut was constructed in 1982 and is located 10 miles northeast of Aspen, Colorado at 11,300'. One of the first huts in the 10th Mountain Division hut system, the construction of the hut was funded by former secretary of defense, Robert McNamara. Margys Hut is managed by the 10th Mountain Division Hut Association and all reservations should be booked at huts.org.
